BEHIND THE SCENES

The de Saint Legers will celebrate at EU.

Eu, royal town, will receive an equally royal family on May 13th. Illustrious since William the Conqueror, the de  Saint Legers have since then been dispersed to the four corners of the world, especially in the Anglo-Saxon countries where they dug their roots after the conquest of England in 1066. The royal subjects, between 250 and 300 persons, will celebrate the millenium of the family on May 13th.

On this occasion, the town of Eu, which does not miss an occasion to improve its image of "pomp and seduction", will baptize in the name of Robert de Saint Leger, the passage located behind the collegiale which connects the Plaza Saint Laurent O'Toole with the Plaza William the Conqueror. It is to be noted that the members of this family got in touch with each other through the Internet. The good old times of manuscripts and geese feathers are now over.
